Bandai Namco, via the latest Gekaku TV stream, revealed new live gameplay of Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris. Producer Yousuke Futami was on stream too, sharing some new comments on the game.

The gameplay features a party with Kirito, the new original character Medina, along with Ronie and Tiese. This is the first time we're seeing gameplay with Kirito and Eugeo's valets Ronie Arabel and Tiese Shtolienen. After some open field exploration and a quick showcasing of the GPS-like guiding function, we get to see a cavern dungeon. That exploration sequence includes some item gathering for crafting, and a boss battle against a rock turtle monster. Note that the game is set in debug mode, with the party members not dying even when their HP reaches zero. Overall, these are parts of the game we've already seen before, but more gameplay never hurts.

You can check more gameplay, the latest trailer, and an in-depth explanation of Alicization Lycoris' battle system with our previous article. That story also includes gameplay of ReoNa playing the game. As a reminder, she sings both SAO Alicization Lycoris' opening theme song, and the 2nd opening theme song of the SAO Alicization War of Underworld anime.
