Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet Gets New Trailer Showing Many Familiar Characters

Bandai Namco showcases the many characters Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet gathers from its predecessors and more in a new trailer.

With multiple anime seasons, light novels, manga, and several games, Sword Art Online has gathered a rather sizable cast of characters (most of which are waifus for Kirito’s harem, but I digress), so it’s only natural that Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet has a lot of familiar faces.

That’s one of the elements showcased in today’s new trailer, that gives a look at the many established characters that we’ll meet in the game. This includes new ones, including the new hero’s childhood friend Kureha, the femme fatale Zeliska, and her own Type-X ArFA-sys Daisy. Of course, our own ArFA-sys AI companion plays an important role as well, in her default looks (she or he will be fully customizable, gender included, even if the male version didn’t get much screen time, wonder why…).

You can check the trailer out below. If you want to see more, you can also enjoy another video from this weekend showing the Hero Battle mode, more gameplay we recently recorded at an event hosted by Bandai Namco alongside quite a few new images, more screenshots a recent trailer, the opening cutscenea gallery of screenshots focusing on Kirito Mode and more elements of the title’s gameplay, a previous batch focusing on the ArFA-Sys AI companion, a trailer in Japanese showcasing the multiplayer features, another recent trailer in English, and  a gallery of screenshots featuring more members of the cast.

Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet will release on February 23rd in both North America and Europe, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
