Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment‘s Steam release has always been a bit of a mystery since it was. offered as a pre-order bonus for the PC version of Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet, which led many to believe that it would become quickly available on its own, but it never did, until now.

Today, as promised a few days ago, the game was made available on Steam.  It costs $19.99, and it comes with English subtitles and Japanese voices.

The original Sword Art Online Hollow Fragment launched for PS Vita in 2014, followed by the improved version Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment on PS4. It’ll be interesting to see if today’s PC release will give the game a second  (or third) wind. I actually enjoyed the original game (it’s not perfect, but it’s certainly enjoyable), so I hope it does.
