System Shock 3 Revealed; In Development with Former BioShock, Looking Glass Development Team

The revered System Shock 2 has long been seen as one of the all-time classics of PC games, and while it’s been almost two decades since the series last appearance, the series seems to be making its long overdue comeback with the surprise reveal of its sequel, System Shock 3.

A teaser page (othersidetease.com) has gone live with a countdown timer leading up to five days from now, though another page that has seemingly leaked the page ahead of time has let the cat out of the bag for System Shock 3‘s reveal, though no release date or platforms have been announced at this time.

The only other information known about the game so far is that it will be coming from developer OtherSide Entertainment, a Boston-based studio composed of members previously from the development team of BioShock and Looking Glass Studios, the team behind the original System Shock. OtherSide is also helmed by Paul Neurath, the founder previously of Looking Glass Studios.

System Shock 3 has officially been announced in development, and while details are scarce at this time, stay tuned here for more info and details as news develops.
