Today, Nightdive Studios announced that its System Shock Remake has been delayed from December 2017 to Q2 2018.

The news comes via this month's Kickstarter update on the project. Along with the news of the delay, the studio also says that it is no longer sure if the game will be a simultaneous launch on all platforms. However, it did say it will try its best to make sure it is.

As you may remember, Nightdive Studios launched a Kickstarter at the end of June for its System Shock remake. Its original plan was to only bring it to Xbox One and PC, however, with seven days left in the Kickstarter, Nightdive announced a PS4 version of the game after passing its $900,000 goal. The Kickstarter finished at $1.3 million dollars raised.

System Shock is set to release sometime in Q2 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, Mac, Linux, and PC.
