With just under one month to go, the highly-anticipated Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is on the minds of Metal Gear fans everywhere, and now the system specs for the PC version should give players an idea of what they need to upgrade to get ready.

Over on the game's official Steam forums page, Konami community manager Robert Peeler revealed the minimum and recommended PC specifications for The Phantom Pain, which you can find in full below:

OS: Windows 7x64, Windows 8x64 (64-bit OS Required)

Processor: Intel Core i5-4460 (3.40 GHz) or better; Quad-core or better

Memory: 4 GB RAM

Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 (2GB) or better (DirectX 11 card Required)

DirectX: Version 11

Hard Drive: 28 GB available space

Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card

RECOMMENDED:

Processor: Intel Core i7-4790 (3.60GHz) or better; Quad-core or better

Memory: 8 GB RAM

Konami has also announced that pre-orders of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will also include a free copy of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes - the prologue chapter released in 2014 that acts as a precursor to the events that will take place in The Phantom Pain.

In addition, all purchasers of the game will also receive a variety of additional content, with PC purchases to also include a behind-the-scenes documentary and several in-game bonus items.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain releases for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC on September 1st, 2015.
