Awhile back it was confirmed that the incredible fan-made short film, "Mortal Kombat: Rebirth" was being shown as a proof of concept for a movie and actually picked up by Warner Bros, albeit as a 10 episode

This just might be it. A way for Mortal Kombat to get over here into 2010 once and for all. For MK fans like me there has been a long period since the last satisfying MK experience
