Today the Asian branch of Bandai Namco Entertainment released a new trailer of the upcoming rhythm game Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun! for Nintendo Switch.

The trailer explains how you use the Switch's Joy-con controllers like they were the sticks of a drum, also showcasing movements that wouldn't correctly be registered due to the nature of the motion controls.

Straight hits with the Joy-con will result in a "don" while 45 degrees hits will simulate a  "ka," which is a strike on the drum's frame.

You can check it out below. The game will release in North America on November 2nd, and in Europe on November 8th.

This isn't the only Taiko No Tatsujin game coming west, as a PS4-dedicated version titled Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum Session! will launch on the same day, with similar gameplay but slightly different features. You can read about both games and see another trailer in our article dedicated to the original announcement from July.
