Taipei Game Show’s “2” Wasn’t a Tease of Metal Gear Rising 2 According to Geoff Keighley [UPDATED]

During Taipei Game Show in Taiwan, Sony aired a video including a random “2” (which you can see above), that looked a lot like a tease for Metal Gear Rising 2.

Today The Game Awards Producer and journalist Geoff Keighley mentioned on Twitter that he talked with Kojima Productions Senior Producer Ken-Ichiro Imaizumi, who denied the possibility.

Update: Imaizumi-san himself afterwards clarified:

What that “2” actually was remains a mystery, as its appearance in the trailer was completely disjointed from anything else before and after it.
