Take-Two Interactive had an earnings call earlier today, during which we expected to hear more about the plans for Grand Theft Auto 6, but it didn't go as expected. Instead, Take-Two hinted at possible sequels to LA Noire and Max Payne 3!

Usually, you shouldn't expect anything big from an earnings call, but mostly we do get the possible release window of upcoming games through these sessions before official news comes out.

Unfortunately, the Take-Two Interactive earnings call didn't provide more info around Grand Theft Auto 6 after its confirmation by Rockstar Games recently, but it did hint vaguely on the continuation of the companies leftover IPs.

Take-Two Interactive Looking to Delivering Sequels to Current IPs by Mentioning LA Noire, Midnight Club, and Max Payne as Potential Franchises

This is the second time in a few months that Take-Two Interactive hints at their potential IPs and the desire to bring them back to the scene.

Previously, Strauss Zelnick pointed at Midnight Club a number of other Take-Two IPs as potential franchises after the acquisition of Zynga.

Now, Midnight Club receives attention again from Take-Two as well as LA Noire and Max Payne. All three IPs have been in the archives for a long time now, and probably a sequel to any of them would make fans super happy.

During the most recent investors call Zelnick pointed out the company's intention to bring more sequels in the coming months and beyond. He said:

We have the strongest and most diverse pipeline in our Company’s history, comprised of new intellectual properties, as well as sequels to many of our beloved franchises. We look forward to delivering many of these titles in the coming months and beyond.

After that, the CEO of Take-Two Interactive showcased a slide from their potential properties, including LA Noire, Max Payne 3, and Midnight Club.

Although Rockstar Games has announced that they are working on Grand Theft Auto 6 at the moment, it is assumed that there are more projects going on in different branches of the studio around the world.

Tom Henderson, one of the trustworthy leakers of the industry recently claimed that Rockstar Games has brought back a new Bully entry into its future plans after multiple cancelations of the project.
