Take a Better Look at Final Fantasy XIV’s Japan Only (For Now) Maid and Butler Outfits

on March 28, 2016 4:02 AM

During the latest Final Fantasy XIV Letter from the Producer Live Square Enix announced a collaboration event with the Japanese convenience store chain 7-Eleven granting prizes including a maid and butler outfits.

The collaboration prompts players to earn points between April 1st and April 30th by buying soft drinks at 7-eleven. Codes printed on the receipt will allow them to proceeds through two lines of prizes that will grant fireworks, an MGP points card, a primal mask, and finally the coveted outfit. Those who will complete both lines will get a white fat chocobo mount.

The unfortunate point is that the codes work only on Japanese accounts, effectively locking out western players, no matter if they find themselves around Japan during the promotion.

Luckily, Square Enix is negotiating a way to make them available to western players, but at the moment we have no guarantees or time frames. You can check the prizes out below.
