Take-Two Promises “Exciting” Unannounced Games from Popular Franchises, New IP; Confirms Next-Gen Borderlands

During its financial conference call for the fiscal quarter ended on December 31st, Take-Two interactive gave us a glimpse on what we can expect for the next fiscal year and beyond, and they seem to have a lot up their sleeve.

Users can expect new annual releases from our NBA and WWE 2K series, as well as exciting, yet to be announced titles from other popular franchises.

Looking further ahead, we have a robust pipeline of titles in development, including ground breaking new intellectual properties, and new releases from our proven franchises. For example, we can confirm that 2K and Gearbox software will develop an all new Borderlands game built specifically for next-gen consoles.

In addition, we have numerous unannounced titles in development, as well as innovative offerings designed to maximize player engagement and drive recurring consumer spending.

We have more to announce about our future line-up in the coming months.

I’m quite sure I’m not the only one wondering if among those “exciting” titles there will be a new Red Dead. Unfortunately Take-two declined to comment on whether there will be a new Rockstar title for the holiday season 2015, or on a release window for the new Borderlands.

As usual, we’ll have to wait and see.
