Tales of Arise is out on nearly every platform, and it's the first Tales of game on consoles in five years - many fans are excited for the series big's comeback, as it also includes a gorgeous cast, both in the Japanese and English voiceovers. And with Tales of Arise being dual audio, you can enjoy both dubs with no worries.

Let's take a look at the JRPG's cast list. Keep in mind that some of the names of the characters below were not revealed before release and as such can be considered spoilers. We separated the cast list between the main playable characters and every other character that's a possible spoiler.

Moreover, you should note that only the Japanese cast of Tales of Arise was revealed before launch. The English dub cast was only partially announced right after release, and we'll know it all once players reach the credits or if the voice actors announce their roles on social media. So if you've seen cast lists before release day, don't take them at face value, they were all speculation based on the voices heard in trailers.

Fun fact about the seiyuu in Tales of Arise

Before delving in, It's interesting to note that when it comes to the Japanese dub, all the playable characters in Tales of Arise were picked through auditions. As confirmed by producer Yusuke Tomizawa. There was no typecasting like in past Tales of games.

In other words, none of the playable characters were designed with a popular seiyuu already picked. This is pretty different from how the Tales of Series usually creates its protagonists. For example, Yuri in Tales of Vesperia was purposefully designed by Kousuke Fujishima with his seiyuu Kohsuke Toriumi in mind. This is also what miHoYo does with the characters in Genshin Impact, for example, picking a popular seiyuu directly rather than doing auditions.

On the other hand, if you're a longtime fan of the series, you'll notice all the antagonists in Tales of Arise were typecasted: they are voiced by seiyuu who voiced iconic past Tales of characters.
