Bandai Namco published a brand new Tales of Arise trailer on June 15, the first day of Tales of Festival 2019. The event is held at Yokohama Arena, and will go on on June 16.

The trailer mixes sequences from the first E3 2019 reveal trailer along with brand new shots. The main characters' names and seiyuu are also revealed for the first time:

The male character is named Alphen and is voiced by Takuya Sato. The female character is named Shionne and voiced by Shino Shimoji.

Takuya Sato published the following comments on Twitter: "It was finally announced that I was asked to voice Tales of Arise's protagonist, Alphen. I can't tell you anything more about the story yet, but I can say that I'm very grateful to be part of this project. Look forward to more Tales of Arise information coming soon!"

The trailer also revealed that Tales of Arise' 2D anime sequences will be handled by Studio Ufotable.

It's interesting to note that despite E3 being the biggest event about games and obviously being fully covered in Japanese outlets, Bandai Namco still made a new trailer specifically for the Japan-only event Tales of Festival, showing the special attention to Japanese fans of the franchise. Tales of Festival is a huge event after all, Yokohama Arena having a 17K people capacity.

We've covered an interview with Tales of Arise's producer Yusuke Tomizawa revealing plenty of new information, most notably that the game is definitely a Tales of Series game despite the trailer having a different feel.

Tales of Arise launches worldwide on PS4, Xbox One and PC in 2020.
