Tales of Berseria’s Main Story Lasts Over 50 Hours; Doing Everything Should Take Over 80 Hours

Shorter games are becoming a bit of a trend in the gaming industry, but JRPGs remain a bastion of large amounts of content that span across tens of hours of gameplay. Tales of Berseria won’t be an exception, as Producer Yasuhiro Fukaya told DualShockers during a recent preview event.

Fukaya-san mentioned that the main story is longer than that of Tales of Zestiria, and it should take over fifty hours to complete on its own. He himself recently played the latest built, and spent more than fifty hours just on the main scenario.

While the gameplay duration depends largely on what the player does, Fukaya-san believes that an average gamer will probably take over eighty hours to complete the game including all the sub-events and optional content.

That’s a lot of Tales Of goodness right there, and from what we have seen so far, it seems it’ll be time well spent.
