Tales of Monkey Island Getting Boxed Release in Europe, Australia

The continuation of one of the best adventure game franchises ever is going retail across Europe, as well as Australia and New Zealand. Developer Telltale Games has partnered with UK-based publisher Lace Mamba Global to offer previously download-only Tales of Monkey Island episodes in special collector’s edition box in stores, which will be available for PC on March 25, 2011.

Lace Mamba has yet to reveal exactly what the box will contain beyond the five chapters of the episodic series, but they’re promising some kind of non-specific “Monkey Island memorabilia” for you to look forward to. Personally, I didn’t play all of the episodes, but the Tales chapters are definitely worthy entries into the series. At the right price, this box could definitely be worth picking up if you’re able.
