Today, Zodiac Interactive revealed its first trailer for its upcoming game, Tales of the Neon Sea.
Developed by Palm Pioneer, Tales of the Neon Sea is a retro-style point-and-click adventure game set in a neon sci-fi cityscape that looks straight out of Blade Runner. The trailer features the game’s main protagonist in a variety of locales within the vibrant pixel-art city, including a dingy sewer with what looks like a reaper.
In late February, it was announced Tales of the Neon Sea would be “coming soon.” Since then Zodiac Interactive and Palm Pioneer have released a few screenshots and gifs of the upcoming adventure game.
While all the specific platforms have yet to be announced, Tales of the Neon Sea is scheduled to launch in Summer 2018 for PC and consoles. The game will be playable on the show floor at this year’s PAX East alongside Zodiac Interactive’s Candleman: The Complete Journey.
