Bandai Namco has revealed a new Japanese trailer for Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Editon getting players up to speed with the story of the game and its characters. You can check the trailer out for yourself down below.

Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition is a remaster of the 10th game in the Tales of series. The title will come with all the nooks and cranny's that never made their way outside of Japan. Additional music, costumes, events, and minigames will all be included in the Definitive Edition. Two new playable characters are also joining the party.

The story of  Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition revolves around a young swordsman named Yuri Lowell. Following a heist that results in a device known as the aqua blastia core being stolen. Yuri attempts to get it back from a thief and eventually finds himself in jail. From there the game's journey begins.

Troy Baker, who voiced Yuri Lowell in the localized version of Tales of Vesperia, will not be reprising his role to record additional lines of dialog in the new events. North America and Europe will be getting their own Premium Edition as well as an Anniversary Bundle of Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition. Japanese fans will also be getting their own 10th Anniversary Edition.

The original localized version of Tales of Vesperia was only available on the Xbox 360 since it launched back in 2008. The game did see a PS3 release but unfortunately, it's only available in Japan. With this new version of the game, players will finally be able to experience what is one of the better Tales of games on whichever platform they own.

Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition was announced back during Xbox's 2018 E3 showcase. The title will be coming to PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on January 11, 2019.
