Today Bandai Namco released a new trailer of Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition, the remaster of the beloved JRPG Tales of Vesperia.

The new trailer focuses mostly on the story, showing both anime and in-engine cutscenes, but we also see bits and bobs of gameplay. We get to see the renewed graphics, which really look good for a remaster of a game that is ten years old.

The game will finally allow western players to enjoy the additions included in the PS3 version, which was inexplicably never launched in the west after the Xbox 360 exclusive release, causing quite a bit of malcontent among fans of the series.

You can check it out below.

Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition will release worldwide (including Japan) on January 11th, 2019, for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch. Japan still gets to one-up us, getting a 10th Anniversary Edition.

If you want to see more of the game, you can enjoy the previous trailer, and the video showcased at the Xbox press conference at E3 2018.
