As fans of the long-running fighting series have come to know, there are still several faces waiting to appear in Mortal Kombat X, with one of the series’ returning veterans officially confirmed to release for the title next week.
Following a tease earlier this week from series creator Ed Boon, a new tweet from Boon confirmed that Tanya will release for Mortal Kombat X starting on June 2nd, 2015 for those that own the “Kombat Pack” DLC add-on for the game: for players that wish to purchase Tanya separately, she will be available to purchase separately one week later on June 9th, 2015.
Tanya is the second character to release of the four included with Mortal Kombat X‘s “Kombat Pack,” which also includes the previously-released Jason Voorhees, and upcoming fighters Tremor and the Predator to be released in the near future.
Mortal Kombat X is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, iOS, and Android – the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game are expected to release in late 2015.
