Team17 shows a little love to its musical history via a Spotify playlist featuring tracks from Full Contact, Overcooked 2, and Worms W.M.D.

The last twelve months have proven to be extremely successful for British developer and publisher Team17. Not only has it seen the launch of such titles as the quirky and chaotic Overcooked 2, but it also launched its 100th game in the form of the beautiful Planet Alpha. Of course, with a milestone of this magnitude, the celebrations are sure to run for quite some time. And what better way to enjoy the festivities than by listening to the music that supported Team17 many classic titles.

Team17 has recently tweeted a link to a Spotify playlist that’s rich with classic gaming music, representing many cornerstones of the studio’s 28-year career.

Beginning with the tranquil main title from 1991’s Full Contact the playlist then jumps to the suspenseful pulsing of Alien Breed’s unnerving bassline. There are also some fast-paced tunes scattered throughout the 22 track list such as a dance number from 1993’s Body Blows Galactic and a particularly groovy tune from Overdrive. More recent releases are also represented in the form of the main themes from Yooka-Laylee, and The Escapists 2.

Of course, no Team17 compilation would be complete without something from the Worms series. Don’t worry, this playlist has you covered on that front too with tracks from Worms 2 along with Worms W.M.D.

You can check out the tracks and indulge in a little aural gaming history via the Spotify playlist below.
