Tecmo Cuts Down a Release Window for Ninja Gaiden 3, Releases First Multiplayer Screens

on December 8, 2011 7:00 PM

The Ninja Gaiden series first implemented true online multiplayer with the release of Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, although that was a laggy mess that I’m sure we’d all like to forget. Such an experience was bound to create doubt in any kind of effective multiplayer in the series, but Tecmo isn’t going to take that sitting down. They’ve released a batch of screens showing off heated four player ninja fights littered with blood and gore. They also appear to be…comitting ritual suicide. That’s cool too I guess.

Additionally, a solid release window has been pinned down for the HD console version of the game. Fans will take home the first ever Itagaki-less Ninja Gaiden game in March of next year. I’ve decided to keep my hopes high until I actually play this, which may later benefit me or turn around to kick me in the shins. Hit the break to check out the screens.
