Tekken 7 Gets First Screenshots of Noctis from Final Fantasy XV and Hammerhead Stage

Bandai Namco released the first screenshots featuring Noctis from Final Fantasy XV in Tekken 7, alongside the stage inspired by the Hammerhead garage.

Following the announcement made on air during the Tekken 7 World Tour Finals this morning, Bandai Namco released the first screenshots portraying Noctis Lucis Caelum from Final Fantasy XV in the game.

We see him fighting against a variety of characters from the Tekken series, on top of some close-up cinematic images, and a piece of character artwork.

On top of that, we also get three images of the stage that will come with Noctis, inspired by the Hammerhead location in Final Fantasy XV, including familiar bystanders like Prompto, Ignis, Gladiolus, Cid, and Cindy.

While the announcement certainly came way from the left field, I don’t think Noctis looks all the out of place in Tekken 7, at least visually. The character design is certainly compatible, even if I would have seen him as a much better choice as a guest character for a new Soul Calibur game.

What Soul Calibur game, you ask? The one I hope is coming, sooner or later. A man can dream, can’t he? Bandai Namco… please.

Noctis will release in Tekken 7 next spring for PS4, Xbox One and PC, and is part of the Season Pass. You can also enjoy his announcement trailer before you check out the gallery below.
