Today, Bandai Namco outlined Tekken 7's post-launch DLC, which will notably include two guest characters from other games.

The first batch of DLC will come sometime in summer 2017, and will include a new game mode and more than 50 new costumes. The second and third batches of content, which will release respectively in winter 2017 and spring 2018, will both feature one exclusive playable guest character from another videogame license. A special stage and special costumes will also come with each of the guest characters.

All three of the different pieces of launch DLC will available to purchase individually or will be available via the Season Pass, which will also grant holders 35 exclusive metallic costumes.

Bandai Namco adds that "during the coming year," all players from all platforms will also enjoy free character panels that will enable one to customize their favorite character's image displayed during the loading screen. This feature is being created in partnership "with various worldwide artists," and allows "each player will have their own way to defy their friends and rivals!"

Tekken 7 is slated to release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on June 2, 2017.

Additionally, if you pre-order the title on any of the three platforms, you will get free DLC access to Eliza, the famed vampire character that made her Tekken debut in Tekken Revolution. If you preorder on Xbox One, you will receive an additional bonus in the form of a free copy of Tekken 6 that takes advantage of the backwards compatible capabilities of the Xbox One platform.
