Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Finally Hitting Home Consoles this September

on April 11, 2012 7:00 PM

Namco has finally answered the prayers of North American fighting fans. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will be gracing HD consoles this September. It’s coming equipped with over 50 characters (including additional characters not in the arcade version, making for the largest roster in series history), a “revolutionary” online component and a bevy of game modes and features.

Namco has expressed that this version of the game will be far more than just a port of the arcade version and that it’ll pack tons of new features such as simultaneous four player pair play. While I’m hyped to death about this release, I’m kind of worried that Tekken X Street Fighter won’t see a 2012 release at this point. Guess we’ll cross that bridge when it comes. Until then, mark your calendars!
