Bandai Namco announced that this year's Tekken World Finals will take place outside of Japan for the first time in its over 20 year history.

The largely popular event will take place at the City View at Metreon in San Francisco on November 12, where the top 16 Tekken 7 players from around the globe will gather to face off and fight to become the champion.

The event, sponsored by no other than Nissin Cup Noodle, will allow a new crowd of fans to witness the event that has been exclusive to the Japanese fan base. The event will take place all-day beginning at 12:00pm PST as the first double elimination rounds of the Tekken World Tour Finals start and will be streamed exclusively on Twitch.

This year's players will travel from the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific regions to find a champion among them. Tekken franchise Director, Ketsuhiro Harada, and Senior Designer, Michael Murray, will both be in attendance to present the winner with a $50,000 grand prize and the champion title.
