Telltale Games’ Game of Thrones Gets New Teaser Image and First Episode Title; First Season Will Be Six Episodes
While Telltale Games has wrapped up both The Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead: Season Two this year, fans are waiting with baited breath for details on the studio’s other two projects debuting this year, Tales from the Borderlands and Game of Thrones – luckily, winter is coming and so is more info on the adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s book series.
In a new teaser image sent out through the official Telltale Games Twitter page, the studio revealed (ever so slightly) some new details on the upcoming adaptation of Game of Thrones, inspired by the hugely popular HBO television series and A Song of Ice and Fire novels.
Through the teaser image, Telltale Games confirmed that the debut season of Game of Thrones will consist of six episodes, adding an additional episode on top of the usual five-episode structure that Telltale has used in the majority of its other titles, including The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us. In addition, the image also confirmed that the first episode’s title will be “Iron From Ice,” a title previously hinted at in former teaser images that used the hashtag “#IronFromIce” in promoting the title.
Game of Thrones is currently in development by Telltale Games, and is set to debut later in 2014.
