Get your Awesome Mix Volume 1 ready - it's time to head back into the galaxy, with the Guardians of the Galaxy, courtesy of Telltale Games in their next new project that has (officially) been revealed.

During tonight's broadcast of The Game Awards 2016, Telltale Games revealed a new trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series, officially confirming the game following a leak a few weeks ago of the title, and confirming Guardians of the Galaxy as Telltale's project in collaboration with Marvel.

Though the title has few details so far, Telltale Games did confirm the title will be a five-part series, with its debut set for 2017 for consoles, PC, and mobile. Telltale Games also provided the following details on what to expect from the series below:

"The energizing blend of humor, emotion, teamwork, and full-on sci-fi action-adventure of the Guardians provides an enormously satisfying space to explore through Telltale's unique style of interactive storytelling. In Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series, players will take on multiple roles within the ragtag band of heroes, and take the pilot's seat in directing their escapades around the universe. We are always honored to be working with the best creative partners and storytellers in entertainment, and working with Marvel on this series leaves us excited to share what we've been developing when it premieres in 2017."

Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series will debut in 2017 - in the meantime, you can check out the debut teaser below:
