Following the conclusion of this year's Tales from the Borderlands and the start of Minecraft: Story Mode last month, Telltale Games is in no short supply of upcoming projects with the future bringing The Walking Dead: Michonne mini-series, and according to Telltale it may be closer than we think.Telltale Games' head of creative communications Job J. Stauffer teased through Twitter some details on the upcoming The Walking Dead: Michonne mini-series, which will provide a few episodic installments to tide over plays between Season 2 and Season 3 of The Walking Dead, similar to the approach Telltale took with 2013's The Walking Dead: 400 Days bonus episode.Playing from the perspective of Michonne, a fan-favorite katana-wielding character from both the comics and TV series of The Walking Dead, Stauffer detailed that the series is "fresh" and "brutal," while also hinting that "it's about to sneak up on you," indicating that we may be getting the first episode of the mini-series shortly. In addition to the tease of Michonne's release in the near future, Stauffer also indicated that this month will also see the release of the third episode of Minecraft: Story Mode, while also responding to a fan question regarding the third season of The Walking Dead that "there will be no news on [The Walking Dead: Season 3] until, at earliest, after the new Michonne Mini-Series concludes."
