It's no secret that Telltale Games continues to create some of the greatest stories in video games. It seems that this realization has not been lost on Ubisoft, as four former Telltale employees have recently been hired by the publisher.

Announced on the Ubisoft blog, some of the minds behind The Walking Dead, Tales from the Borderlands, Minecraft: Story Mode and The Wolf Among Us have joined the Ubisoft San Francisco ranks to "work on future projects." The new hires are Dennis Lenart, Nick Herman, Pierre Shorette, and Adam Sarasohn.

François Pelland, Executive Producer at Ubisoft San Francisco noted his excitement about how the new hires will contribute to Ubisoft's team.

“We are excited to welcome these strong industry veterans to our skilled team at Ubisoft San Francisco. As we continue to expand our portfolio of games, we look to hire the best talent in the industry and infuse team members with a shared passion for development.”

Most recently, during Ubisoft's quarterly financial conference call, the company mentioned that although Watch_Dogs 2 didn't have a strong launch, it's expected to recover down the line.
