TERA Gets a New Spring 2012 Release Window

on August 3, 2011 1:30 PM

TERA Online producer Chris Hager announced today that the game is now set to launch in the North American region in the Spring 2012 season.

Previously expected by the end of this year (even if a release window was never confirmed), the game will undergo an extensive alpha testing this fall, focused on PvP server settings, overall progression, quest feedback, BAM (big-ass monster) fights, account management and more.

Following the alpha, a beta test phase is scheduled to begin early next year.

Some may wonder if this new release window (that many will perceive as a delay) has anything to do with the lackluster performance of the game in it’s Korean homeland.
