TERA Opens the Nexus, Releases New Trailer

on June 2, 2012 11:31 AM

Yesterday the Nexus feature was introduced officially in TERA and En Masse Entertainment released a new video showcasing what’s awaiting endgame players as they prepare to face this tear in the fabric of reality.

For six times every weekend blue beams will drop from the sky in certain areas, summoning armies of monsters that only large groups of heroes will be able to tackle. As soon as they will enter the Nexus they will be prompted to join a party automatically and then their battle for survival will begin.

At the end of each wave of monsters a certain number of reputation points and credits will be awarded to everyone involved, allowing for the purchase of some of the most powerful equipment in the game.

The initial schedule is the following:

  • Fridays: 5 PM PDT and 9 PM PDT.
  • Saturdays: 5 PM PDT and 9 PM PDT.
  • Sundays: 12 PPM PDT and 4 PM PDT.

Having battled in the Nexus yesterday, I can definitely say that the feature provides quite a lot of fun, even if I’d rather see it moved to random times throughout the whole week.

You can check out the new trailer below, and, if you missed it, read my review of the game here.
