Today Hironobu Sakaguchi's Mistwalker Corporation released a new trailer of its upcoming mobile JRPG Terra Battle 2.

The trailer introduces a batch of characters, some of which have been seen before, while we meet others for the first time.

The cast is designed by Kimihiko Fujisaka, who you might know for the Drakengard series and The Last Story. At the helm is Hironobu Sakaguchi himself, while the soundtrack is being created by legendary Final Fantasy Maestro Nobuo Uematsu.

You can check out the traieler below, and if you want to see more, you can also enjoy some direct feed gameplay here, and more here, on top of the first trailer, and the first character trailer.

You can also read our extensive coverage coming from Anime Expo, starting from an interview with Hironobu Sakaguchi himself. During a separate press panel, Sakaguchi-san also talked about his opinion on the Nintendo Switch, the (unlikely) possibility of his return to the Final Fantasy franchise, and shared more details on the console version of Terra Battle.

Terra Battle 2 doesn’t have a release date yet, but Sakaguchi-san and his studio are working hard to meet a late summer release window for iOS, Android and PC, at least in Japan and North America, with more countries to follow at a later date.
