Terraria is Officially Coming to Both Wii U and 3DS

Re-Logic’s 2D sandbox adventure, Terraria, has made it to nearly every platform out there except for Nintendo’s, but it looks like that will be changing.

In a post on the game’s official forums, Lead Developer Whitney Baird posted that “Terraria is indeed coming to Wii U and 3DS.”

No mention of a release date or window was made, though we’ll likely hear more closer to the game’s release on the new platforms.

Hopefully we see some interesting uses of each consoles unique inputs, and with any luck, we’ll eventually see Terraria‘s psuedo-sequel offshoot game, Terraria: Otherworld, on 3DS and Wii U as well.
