Today, developer Re-Logic announced that its mega-hit 2D action RPG Terraria, as of today, has sold 20 million copies since its launch in 2011.

The news came via the following tweet from the game's official twitter account:

Terraria first launched for PC back in May 2011, and then was ported and released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, iOS, and Android in 2013, for Windows Phone, PS4, and Xbox One in 2014, for Mac, Linux, and Nintendo 3DS in 2015, and lastly, for Wii U in 2016.

It was announced back in July of last year that the game had sold 18 million copies, meaning, roughly, in the past seven months the game has sold another two million. Not bad for a game that is almost six years old.
