Today, Finnish developer 10tons announced its latest game, Tesla vs Lovecraft, will be coming to the Xbox One through the ID@Xbox self-publishing program. Digital pre-orders are available now at a 20% discount.

Tesla vs Lovecraft is a twin-stick shooter where you face the iconic horror author, H.P. Lovecraft, and his monsters as Nikola Tesla. The inventor is fully-equipped to take down the Lovecraftian horrors with the help of a Quantum Teleport backpack, the powerful Tesla-Mech, and a variety of conventional and unique weaponry. The game will also feature a story mode, survival mode, local co-op mode for two to four players.

This is what Tero Alatalo, CEO of 10tons, states about Tesla vs Lovecraft's gameplay:

”Tesla vs Lovecraft is all about high voltage, high adrenaline, high firepower action. It’s very gratifying to mow down waves of eldritch abominations, build up your power, and finally call down the mighty Tesla-Mech battle robot to deliver the killing blow with gargantuan firepower.”

The game initially launched on Steam Greenlight with an expected full release for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Steam in Q3 2017. Although it didn't hit its planned window, it did officially launch this year on January 26th on Steam. A date for the PlayStation 4 version has yet to be revealed, however, it is still included in the list of platforms on the game's website along with the Nintendo Switch and mobile devices.

Tesla vs Lovecraft will launch for Xbox One on March 16th, 2018 for $14.99. If you can't wait to play it, you can pick it up on Steam right now for the same price.
