Every year, TF2 has a big surprise for April Fools Day to entertain its community, be it traveling back in time and announcing Team Fortress 95 for Windows 95, or starting an in-game event for a limited-time!

After Counter Strike: Global Offensive and Dota 2, Team Fortress 2 is the third popular multiplayer title from Valve at the moment. A hero-based shooter that took the world with storm when it was originally launched back in 2007.

Although Team Fortress 2 doesn't receive so much love from Valve compared to company's top-tier multiplayer duo, but there is always something to surprise players with on April Fools Day. This year, it's going to be an in-game event!

TF2 April Fools Event Will Go Live in a Few Hours

Valve has officially announced that an in-game event called Operation Peculiar Pandemonium will go live on April 1 at 3 am ET/7 am UTC in celebration of April Fools Day. During the event, which has been developed by MoonlightMvM, you will fight against the Meme Machines! All you need to do is to resist against the multiple waves of robot invasions and survive the attacks to earn the special Pink Tank Medal.

In addition to getting you entertained with the a new in-game event, Valve has also provided a channel to donate The National Breast Cancer Foundation of Australia, using either cash or the Team Fortress 2 items!

The event will be around until April 11. So, make sure to revisit your memories in Team Fortress 2 while having fun a new limited-time mode in the game!

Team Fortress 2 is now available for free on PC through Steam. Despite launching over 14 years earlier, Team Fortress 2 is still usually among the top 10 games with the highest concurrent players on Steam.
