Ni no Kuni is an upcoming RPG for the DS and PS3 (yes, I know, unlikely combo) which is developed by a collaboration from Level 5 and Studio Ghibli. The game follows a boy named Oliver on a journey to save his mother. You see, she dies suddenly, and he’s told by this fairy that he’ll be able to revive his mother if he goes into this world that is paralell to his own. Once he goes there, he encounters alternate versions of all the people he knows in his live.

This trailer was presented at the Tokyo Game Show this week, and shows off the game in motion on the PS3. I don’t know about you, but I get interested any time Level 5 is developing a new RPG. Check it out after the break.
