Monster Hunter Portable 3rd and AKB48 fans around the world (or just in Japan), are gonna have a sweet Christmas. Sony has just announced two new PSP bundles to touch down in Japan for the holiday season. The first is for the Monster Hunter fans, which features some sweet looking gold trim and Hunter logos, and even comes with a larger battery, which adds a little bulge to the PSP. It’ll also have an improved analog stick. That bundle will ship on December 1st in Japan, the same day the standalone game will ship. It’s gonna run the wallet 19800 yen. Hit the break for some information on the second bundle

The other bundle is for AKB48 fans. It includes a specially branded pink PSP, 48 different battery covers each with a different AKB48 girl on it, a copy of the game, “When You Fall In Love With An Idol…,” two making of DVDs, some stickers, and some reversible game covers. That’s a whole lot of pink.

"Pink, Pink, Pink, and oh, some more Pink"

An avid gamer since birth, I consider myself a new-age gamer. My first system was the N64, but the first system I really cared about was my Xbox Original. I'm a computer science major in college, and spend all my money on games, and stuff I don't need. I've never played Zelda or many Mario games in my youth. I'm also a huge sports fan, and a chick flick lover. My favorite games include Gears of War, Halo, Fallout, GTA, Mass Effect, and Metal Gear Solid.
