During the Pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference Sony Computer Entertainment announced that the action RPG God Eater 2, that was previously scheduled only for release on PSP, will actually receive a PS Vita version as well.

The game will be released in 2013 and will support cross-platform co-op via adhoc Party. The PS Vita version will benefit from improved graphics, higher resolution and system-specific features.

The monster slaying God Eater franchise is definitely popular in Japan, but God Eater Burst was actually published in the west as well. With any luck, we might actually get to see at least the PS Vita version localized in English.
