During Tokyo Game Show Square Enix held a nostalgic stage event dedicated to its Square Enix Music division, with legendary composers Yoko Shimomura (Kingdom Hearts series, Parasite Eve), Kenji Ito (SaGa series, Mana series) and Yasunori Mitsuda (Xenogears, Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross) in attendance.

The panel celebrated quite a lot of classic JRPG music, and even included a guest appearance of historical Final Fantasy director Hiromichi Tanaka (he seems to have lost a lot of weight since his departure from Square Enix, suppporting the rumors about him suffering from health issues). You can check the recording out just below, courtesy of YouTube user tsumire go. The music is after the 24 minutes mark, when each composer talks about his favorite songs.
