TGS 2021, Tokyo Game Show, has started on September 30 and is ongoing till October 3 included, here's everything you need to know about the event, including the huge Steam sale currently happening to celebrate.

Tokyo Game Show is the biggest game event for Japanese games, and this year is held exclusively online, with only a few stands and attendees on-site. A few games are actually playable too, such as KOF XV.

This is the second time TGS is rebranded TGS online, since the 2020 edition, as the pandemic situation is still worrying in Japan.

One good thing that resulted from this situation though is that now, several TGS stage events are pre recorded and often come with English subtitles. Several live talk shows will be happening too, and some of these aren't translated. So count on us to bring you some summaries after each event ends.

TGS 2021 schedule, Steam sale

First, there's an official English schedule you can find on the TGS 2021 official page.

However, I highly recommend using the Game Schedule Wiki's schedule instead. Sure it's in Japanese, but I'm sure you can handle at least Katakana or know how to use Google Translate if you're interested in TGS in the first place. This schedule is incredibly well organized, with most notably links to each event's stream, and which games will be featured.

Lastly, you can also watch TGS on Steam on this page, which also includes all the games currently on sale during the event.

DualShockers and I will be just like each year, covering exclusive news and developers comments from TGS, Kook forward to our translations and event summaries especially. You can also always reach me on Twitter @A_iyane07 for a chat on Japanese games and niche stuff.
