Platinum End

Platinum End earns the top spot on our list, not only does it have incredibly visual as well as a great story but it’s created by the makers of Deathnote which in itself is amazing.

Mirai Kakehashi is a lonely and sad boy whilst feeling the weight of the world on his shoulders, he encounters an angel.

Although he is saved from doing something irreversible and life-ending, he now must battle it out to become God in return for his salvation.

ODDTAXI

If you’re animal-mad then ODDTAXI will be the anime for you.

Follow a walrus in his forties with minimal social skills and try to manoeuvre life in his journey as he meets a number of new faces.

His world will be turned upside down when a missing person case involving a girl is traced back to him by police, what will he do?

The Faraway Paladin

The Faraway Paladin has a really interesting plot with the main character, Will, being the only human child left, raised by three undead.

Each of the undead teaches him their ways and gives him their knowledge on varied subjects.

Throughout the series, Will goes on a journey to become a Paladin, along the way revealing the secrets and history behind the barren, undead world he has come to know.

Don’t Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro

If sadodere characters are your thing, Miss Nagatoro is the girl for you. You’ve likely seen this character plenty of times weaving her way through social media, profiles, posts and more.

Hayase Nagatoro discovers a timid and shy artist, Naoto Hachioji, from then on out she continues to tease and bully him throughout the series.

This is another high school anime drama with a twist, we’re used to tsundere guys, now we can catch a glimpse of a slightly tsundere female!

The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat

Lugh Tuatha Dé is an old man who was formerly the greatest assassin on Earth, he boards a plane, only to find it had been sabotaged, eventually leading to his death.

Gemma (She/Her) has been gaming since she was able to hold a controller and button smash, now she does a little less smashing, more thinking in games like Apex Legends, Dead by Daylight, New World and more. When she isn't gaming she can be found cocooned in blankets whilst bingewatching anime, she's likely watching shoujo and on the edge of tears.
