ManaCube

IP: play.manacube.net

Our first Minecraft multiplayer minigame server is ManaCube. This server has been around for over 9 years, hosting over 4 million players in its many many maps. Complete with daily events and every major Minecraft game mode out there, ManaCube is a classic server for any multiplayer fan!

Brush up on your PvP skills with KitPvP, challenge yourself with extreme survival modes like Skyblock, and take a chance at some Parkour. It’s a great place to start for players unfamiliar with Minecraft minigames, with a not-too-big player base of about 2000-3000.

Particularly impressive about this server is its breadth of Parkour possibilities. With over 1000 maps and several parkour variations, you’ll find impressive builds and challenging jumps at every turn, making sure you’ll never find a boring moment on ManaCube.

Wynncraft

IP: play.wynncraft.com

If you love RPGs and you love Minecraft, then Wynncraft is the perfect server for you. A less-traditional minigame server, Wynncraft focuses more on an MMORPG approach. Players can choose from a number of classes, join guilds, complete quests, and earn gold within a high fantasy Runescape-inspired land. You won’t do much building in this version of Minecraft, but you will do a whole lot more exploring.

And, with an average online player base of 2000-3000, the server has a thriving community of players. You’ll never have a shortage of guild members to go on quests with or a lack of bosses to fight.

Originally, the server was founded in 2011 by Minecrafters Grian, Salted, and Jumla. It’s had a record-breaking 1.7 million+ unique players since its creation. If anything, that just goes to show what a gem of a server Wynncraft is.

Hypixel

IP: mc.hypixel.net

Hypixel, a true classic. It is the largest on our Minecraft multiplayer minigame servers list, boasting well over 150,000 players at any given time. This is a server for players who want to dive headfirst into the Minecraft community and play minigames with up to dozens of others at a time.

On this server, you can play Bed Wars, Murder Mystery, Paintball Warfare, QuakeCraft, and 39 other modes/minigames. Honestly, if you can think of a Minecraft game, you can probably find it here! Here’s a full list of available games.

Hypixel was founded back in 2013 by Simon “Hypizel” Collins-Laflamme and Philippe Touchette. Impressively, the server has since garnered 4 Guinness World Records: Most Popular Independent Server For a Video Game, Most Popular Minecraft Server Network, Most Games on a Minecraft Server, and Most Unique Players Logged Into a Minecraft Server. They’ve also collaborated with other popular Minecraft YouTubers, particularly DreamSMP member Technoblade.

CubeCraft

IP: play.cubecraft.net

CubeCraft is one of Minecraft‘s six featured server partners, along with The Hive, Mineplex, Lifeboat, Mineville, and Galaxite. It’s got both a great variety in game modes and a great support staff, so you can be assured that this server is safe and well-run.

One of CubeCraft’s coolest minigames is Among Slimes, an Among Us and Murder Mystery-inspired mode. You can also explore Tower Defense, MinerWare, and EggWars alongside thousands of other concurrent players. It’s not as overwhelmingly populated as Hypixel, but large enough to ensure that you’ll always find groups of friendly people to play with!

Complex-Gaming’s Pixelmon

IP: hub.mc-complex.com

Minecraft and Pokémon – what isn’t there to love? Complex-Gaming hosts a number of Minecraft servers, but Pixelmon has to be their most unique. You’ll have to download their Pixelmon mod for the Pokémon to appear, but once you do, it is so worth it. With over 850 Pokémon to encounter, this server features aspects from a variety of classic Pokémon games.

In addition, this server also has a bunch of the classic Minecraft minigames. You can play them without the necessity of a mod, but really, their Pokémon game mode is the most special thing about this server.

And that’s our list of the best Minecraft multiplayer minigame servers! Check back on DualShockers for any future Minecraft patches or news.
