miHoYo revealed in the newest Genshin Impact livestream all the details on Ver 1.4 Invitation of Windblume, including new weapon The Alley Flash, a Sword. Here's everything you should know about The Alley Flash in Genshin Impact, including its ability, its stats, its substat, its banner release time, and whether you should pull for it or not.

The Alley Flash is a four star Sword weapon

Jean, Kaeya, Bennett, Albedo, Xingqiu, Qiqi, and Keqing can equip The Alley Flash. Overall, it looks like a great Sword for elemental reaction builds such as Vaporize. You might want to get it for Xingqiu or Bennett for example.

Keep in mind the stats below is what has been leaked from the Private Beta Test. It's possible that the stats will be slightly different when Ver 1.4 Invitation of Windblume launches on March 17. We will be sure to update this article if the stats are different.

UPDATE: We have updated the stats below accordingly with the official release of The Alley Flash. The max Base ATK was changed from 660 to 620. Keep in mind this technically isn't a "nerf" as nothing in Beta is final.

The Alley Flash Stats: Level 1 (Level 90)

  • Base ATK: 45 (620)
  • Sub Stat: 12 (55) Elemental Mastery

The Alley Flash Special Ability

(Refine level progression of the ability is under parenthesis)

Increases DMG dealt by the character equipping this weapon by 12 % (15%, 18%, 21%, 24%). Taking DMG disables this effect for 5s.

Overall The Alley Flash is a great Sword for a DPS character, as long as you don't get hit.

Weapon Ascension Materials required for The Alley Flash

Players will need Decarabian materials, Horn materials, and Scroll materials to Ascend The Alley Flash. The Decarabian materials are farmed in Domains. Mitachurl and Hilichurl Chieftains drop the horns. Scrolls are dropped by Samachurls.

For the locations of the Domains and the monsters for the materials, simply check in-game in your Adventurer Handbook.

How to Get The Alley Flash, Should you pull for it?

The Alley Flash will be available in a new weapon banner starting on March 16. Again, this is a four star weapon, so you can get it in ten pulls if you're lucky. Overall it's an investment, either Primogems or real money, as it'll only be obtainable through the banner. Personally I'd recommend avoiding putting  money on the table, and keeping your Primogems for new characters rather than weapons.

The banner will also include the Wine and Song Catalyst.

Genshin Impact is a free-to-play open world action JRPG, available on PC, PS4, PS5 via backward compatibility, and Mobile. The game was also announced on Switch, but has no release date on the platform yet.
