The Alliance Alive HD Remastered Officially Announced Following Leak

The Alliance Alive HD Remastered, port of the original 3DS JRPG written by Yoshitaka Murayama, will be coming worldwide in Fall 2019.

FuRyu officially announced The Alliance Alive HD Remastered for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC. The game is an HD remaster of The Alliance Alive, released on 3DS on June 22, 2017, in Japan, and on March 27, 2018, worldwide.

The Alliance Alive HD Remastered‘s announcement leaked on March 6 and was later on officially confirmed by FuRyu.

FuRyu is planning to launch The Alliance Alive HD Remastered worldwide in Fall 2019.

The Alliance Alive is a JRPG developed by Cattle Call with the help of Grezzo and FuRyu. Cattle Call is pretty unknown in the west, though some might recognize the Tokyo-based company as the developers of the Metal Max series. The Alliance Alive is the sequel to The Legend of Legacy, another JRPG on 3DS.

While it didn’t revolutionize JRPGs, The Alliance Alive was still a very enjoyable experience and managed to stand out through its story penned by Yoshitaka Murayama of Suikoden fame, characters, and battle system. You can read more about the game with our review.

Along with remastering the game into HD, FuRyu also reworked The Alliance Alive‘s GUI to include everything on one screen, as the original game used both of the 3DS’ screens.

FuRyu published a batch of first screenshots for The Alliance Alive HD Remastered as well, you can find them in the gallery below. The game’s official site can be reached here.

Lastly, FuRyu announced that the PC version in particular of The Alliance Alive HD Remastered will be published by NIS America in Japan, which could mean they will handle the distribution of the game worldwide. This means there’s a very high chance the game will be featured in Nippon Ichi Software America’s new announcements live stream on March 11, with other highly possible games to get localized like Destiny Connect.  The original The Alliance Alive ‘s English version was handled by Atlus USA.
