The American Dream is less than 48 hours away from its official launch. With that in mind, today, Australian indie developer Samurai Punk has released a launch trailer in advance of its official launch.

The American Dream is an upcoming virtual reality title, which provides a satirical take on 1950s America and how life back then could possibly have been like if everything was done while wielding a gun. The American Dream will feature more than twenty adrenaline-inducing and action-packed stages; with each level focusing on a particular moment in the average American life. Including (but not limited to) tossing around the 'ol pigskin, tidying up your residence, dancing with your crush at the school dance, taking out your best girl on a night out in the town, and delivering a newborn infant.

As mentioned in the introduction paragraph, The American Dream is currently being developed and published by Samurai Punk and will launch on Wednesday, March 14 for $14.99 for HTC Vive, PlayStation VR, and Oculus Rift. You can watch the launch trailer below, for more information on The American Dream, check out some screenshots of the game in action as well as a trailer that was launched to celebrate Independence Day.
