French publisher Focus Home Interactive is continuing to expanding their upcoming game lineup, which already includes titles like Call of Cthulhu, The Surge 2, and Greedfall. Today, Focus Home Interactive revealed that they have partnered with French studio Enodo Games to publish their first game, The Architect: Paris.

The Paris and Lyon-based Enodo Games has actually been working on The Architect: Paris since 2014, but were just able to snag a publisher in Focus Home Interactive. Enodo Games' President and Creative Director Jean-Baptiste Reynes commented on the studio finally finding a publisher:

"The Architect: Paris is an out of the box, innovative game that aims to shake the foundations of the genre. We are convinced that Focus Home Interactive is the ideal publisher to help us develop and promote our game. We look forward to working with their teams and benefiting from their long-time experience and expertise."

Focus Home Interactive's Production Director Luc Heninger also discussed how The Architect: Paris fits nicely into the publisher's current lineup:

"We are delighted to partner with Enodo Games. With The Architect: Paris, they’re bringing a title that fits perfectly with the Focus Home Interactive catalog, as it goes far beyond the classical borders of its genre. We are always happy to work with ambitious partners developing innovative and fun concepts, and that’s exactly what Enodo Games is doing here."

To build on what they mentioned about innovative gameplay, The Architect: Paris is interesting in that it lets players build up the famous city of Paris for themselves down to the individual buildings. While the game does still feature the design, demographics, politics, and pollution management aspects of gameplay people have come to expect from games like Cities: Skylines, players will have the ability to intricately design and manage individual buildings.

You can get a better idea of how this works by watching the gameplay trailer below. While The Architect: Paris is currently without a release date, we do know that it is in development for PC.
