Known for its compelling mix of strategy, roleplaying, and a lush setting inspired by Norse mythology, The Banner Saga 3 is set to bring the acclaimed trilogy of games to a close later this year, and now Nintendo Switch owners will get to experience the titles in the coming months at once.

During today's Spring 2018 Nindies Direct from Nintendo, the company announced that The Banner Saga 3 will be coming to the Switch this summer from developer Stoic Games and publisher Versus Evil, making this the first confirmed console release of the game outside of its confirmed release for PC and Mac.

In addition to the confirmation that the series' final chapter will arrive for the Switch, Nintendo also announced that the first two Banner Saga titles will also be arriving on the Switch and are "coming soon." Like on other platforms, decisions and choices that players carry out from each game will carry over into the next one, making this a convenient announcement for players that want to experience the whole trilogy in one place while carrying over progress from the first two games into the series' final chapter.

The Banner Saga 3 will release for the Nintendo Switch this summer, and will also be releasing on PC and Mac.
