TBATE Chapter 149 Recap

The chapter starts with Arthur telling his parents how he was transported from his world to this one. This scares Arthur's parents, and his mother asks if Windsom told him all this rubbish. To this, Arthur replies that no one, including Windsom, knows about this truth. Alice wonders if the council did something to Arthur or hurt him in some way.

Arthur tells his parents about everything he remembered from his previous life, including his relationships and the role he played there. Alice starts to tremble as Arthur goes deeper into the story while Reynolds asks a few questions. Arthur's mother still doesn't believe him and asks if he is playing a prank on them. But Arthur denies that he is not joking, and he is a king reincarnated to this world. Alice then starts to remember all the childhood memories of Arthur and starts trembling again.

Arthur leaves both of them alone and joins Elder Rinia, Windsom, and Eleanor. After some time, Reynolds comes back to talk to Arthur, and he asks if they believe him. Reynolds says that he believes him as he doesn't have a reason to lie. He says that his earlier awakening, brilliance as a mage and a fighter, everything makes sense to him now.

Upon asking if he is okay, Reynolds breaks down and says that it isn't easy to believe what he told them. He asks if he is really their son or if he took over their unborn baby for his own reincarnation. Arthur replies that he himself doesn't know about the whole truth, and maybe he actually took over their child.

Arthur says that he will be leaving them for some years as it would be great to spend some years apart. Before leaving, Arthur confesses that in his previous life, no one ever loved him, which made him a great fighter but a bad person. But in his current life, he got so much love that he is not a great fighter but a better human being.

Arthur goes to Windsom and asks him if they should leave. Windsom uses some magic and they both leave the place. Arthur asks if there is something wrong with his expressions there. Windsom replies that his expressions reminded him of Pantheon Asuras, who would shut their emotions in order to fight with efficiency. Windson tells Arthur that once they reach Epheotus, he wants his full concentration, and Arthur replies that he is ready.
